James Portman

James is an Executive in Clairfield’s UK team. He joined the firm as an Analyst in August 2023, having first worked with Clairfield during a 2021/22 industrial placement year as part of his degree, and has since progressed through the organisation to his current role.

At Clairfield, James provides buy-side and sell-side transaction support, research and financial analysis.

He graduated from Aston University with a degree in Business Management, and holds the ICAEW CFAB qualification along with the Corporate Finance Certificate and Diploma from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
